The Alpha version of My Time at Portia was released on Steam for Windows on J, Early Access was released on Janu, and the full game was officially released on Janu. A few characters make an appearence in both games. It is set in the same world as My Time at Sandrock, but in a more fertile biome, and the two games have parallel timelines. The primary feature of My Time at Portia is crafting objects in a workshop for commissions to improve the town of Portia. The game is inspired by Animal Crossing, Dark Cloud 2, Harvest Moon, and the works of Miyazaki. My Time at Portia is a simulation RPG game developed by Pathea Games and published by Team17. Oh you can also play multiplayer in Stardew. The only current bugs in stardew seem to revolve around item duplication, which isn't a huge issue as it's non-competitive. It's been brought up repeatedly and I've experienced it. The mouse cursor bug seems to be an old one dating back roughly 4 years. With MTAP I've had an item vanish on me and my mouse cursor also disappear within <1 ingame month. I've never encountered any in Stardew with 2 playthroughs. One thing I would also say is that Stardew Valley's developer/s have a much better attitude towards bugfixes. Personally I feel that a bedtime in MTAP is pointless as passing out just puts you back in your bed for free with no loss of next day stamina. This is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you like games. Stardew Valley also penalizes you for running out of stamina or not getting to bed on time. Personally I prefer Stardew, but maybe that's just me liking the nostalgic feel of the game. Since you've already bought MTAP I would recommend that you get stardew if it's on sale, or if EGS offer it for free at some point. MTAP adds more because it was created by a developer team heavily inspired by Stardew valley. Stardew has a nostalgic feeling that MTAP can't beat in my opinion. If you want a farming focussed game where most of the story is optional and based on relationship unlocks or building certain (optional but highly recommended things) then Stardew Valley is a good game. If you want to be more industry focussed and given a storyline that is fed to you as you play the game play MTAP. MTAP borrows heavily from Stardew valley, offers 3d graphics and a few more systems. Stardew valley is basically the passion project of one guy who wanted to make a better Harvest Moon game.
